On Tuesday August 28 from 3pm-11pm the Sheriff's Office will be conducting a county wide sex offender compliance check. We will be checking the compliance of 178 sex offenders. During the check the Sheriff would like members of the auxiliary to walk door-to-door in the same neighborhood distributing a door hanger with information about the Missouri Sex Offender law and registration to residents. This will require a lot of walking and organization. I will post two volunteer positions: Door-to-Door (walkers handing out flyers) and Command Center (help organize volunteers). Auxiliary will only go until dark.
