This isn't a typical event, but it's currently the best way we have of disseminating information with the entire Auxiliary.
I wanted to pass along the email I received from Shannon Bruegge, Drug Court Officer. Before I do, I need to bring the people that worked the warrants and missed the Wed meeting up to speed.
Mitch Philips asked me if I would contact Shannon and see if there was something the Auxiliary could do to help with the Drug Court Cookout and Fireworks Display. Shannon said they still needed drinks for approx 85 adults and children.
I described the situation at the meeting and with only a few days before the event, we decided that money was the best solution. We simply passed a hat around the room and collected 127 dollars.

To the Cass County Sheriff's Auxiliary,
I wanted to send you a special “thank you”from all of us with the Cass County Drug Court. We ended up having over 100people attend the party and it was huge success. Everyone truly enjoyedthemselves and the kids would have played games till Midnight, if we would havelet them. I wanted the Sheriff Auxiliary Group to know that without the verygenerous donation, I am not sure we would have been able to pull it off. I usedevery penny of the money for drinks and games prizes.
If you ever would like a speaker or would need us to performcommunity service with the Auxiliary Group, please don’t hesitate to ask.
