We would like to invite everybody and their families to the first Family Behind the Badge Candle Vigil on Sunday, July 31 starting at 1800hrs at the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. We have been given permission to utilize the kitchen facilities and grill to prepare food. So, we are asking everyone to bring their specialty dish whether it be something in a crockpot, something to grill, a salad, or desert. All paper products will be provided along with lemonade and water. We will be eating in the front training room. After dinner we will be gathering around the pond at dusk for a candle vigil to honor all of the fallen officers. We are asking that everyone bring candles for their entire family. This will also give us the opportunity to get to know our entire LEO family here at the Sheriff’s Office.
This is only open to employees, auxiliary, and thier family. A public event is being scheduled for a later date.
